Testimonials - Every day we remark how much we love it and how we wouldn’t change anything about it

This is our review of our new kitchen which was installed in April 2025, so it’s a relatively long-term appraisal of the whole experience.

We began in summer 2024 by speaking to David Allen in the showroom and having become hooked on the idea by the gorgeous showroom we embarked on the design and planning process. Over the course of about 4 months and numerous planning meetings we settled on a design which we felt would provide us with the results we were looking for. Initially we had considered going with another company (manufacturer’s showroom type of set up), but having compared the two offerings at the early stages it was clear that Diane Berry Kitchens were a far better option for us.
Over many weeks and months David was able to help us with all sorts of decisions concerning the various finishes we were looking for including cabinet and worktop choices, sinks, taps, sockets, appliances, tiles, lighting and much more besides. His help, ideas and experience were invaluable.
Our preferred manufacturer was Eggersman. The quality, design and durability are outstanding together with bespoke manufacture. The ceiling height in our house is low and we really wanted to make the most use of the space by having units that were custom fit, especially vertically. David understood our many particular needs and was able to incorporate everything we wanted without compromise.
To accommodate the new kitchen there was a need for five weeks of building work. This meant that coordination between our builder and the installation team was required. Martin the installation manager met with the builder and discussed the detailed requirements, all according to David’s detailed design. It was quite a complicated rearrangement of the house but because it was so well planned everything went to schedule. Martin was very patient and he was always very communicative and helpful when we needed to contact him.
Fitting of the kitchen was expertly handled by Csaba. His is the most precise craftsman we have ever come across. There was no sense of anything being rushed and the emphasis was very much on precision and accuracy.
The complexity of the whole process was a surprise to us and whilst we were completely happy with the kitchen design and fitting service, Miele supplied a faulty freezer. John Mason stepped in to save the day and quickly ordered us a new one.
Since the kitchen was completed we have been thrilled with everything about it. Every day we remark how much we love it and how we wouldn’t change anything about it. In the past 9 months of use we have had only a couple of very minor issues which have cropped up and have been sorted with short visits from Laszlo to rectify them.
We are very grateful to Diane Berry Kitchens as a whole and in particular to David, Martin, Csaba, Laszlo and John. Without their help and expertise our new kitchen would likely not be half as good as it is. It was a substantial investment but well worth the time, effort and expense.
